Commercialization Department expert of Kermanshah Science and Technology Park said:” admission of technology plans should be in accordance with regional advantages and needs.”
Majid Karamipanah in an interview with Public Relations of Kermanshah Science and Technology Park, said:” for owners of tech business, the most important challange for commercialization is the lack of capital, but in my opinion the most important challenge facing expanding of entrepreneurship and startup activity is the lack of proper initial needs assessment and insufficient attention to regional needs and advantages.”
“Although there are many challenges for the commercialization of technology, but through improving entrepreneurship culture via holding conferences and exhibitions, establishing links between scientific research centers and industrial-service centers we try to address the needs.” Karamipanah added.
He went on to say:” Agricultural capacities of Kermanshah are much more than industrial ones, but majority of projects admitted to KSTP are in the industrial field, and I think the reason for low success of the agricultural sector in science and technology is traditional farmers and small number of agricultural companies.”
The expert pointed out:”In commercialization department, we want to help promoting entrepreneurship culture, attract investors and create a suitable environment for strengthening and expanding knowledge-based companies in the region, especially in the agricultural sector.”
Karamipanah refereeing to opening of Kermanshah Technology Tower said: One of the main challenges of science and technology parks is lack of space, Kermanshah Technology Tower as the largest technology tower in country is providing the space needed for startups , service companies, technology transfer offices (TTOs), venture capitalists, innovation centers, accelerators and industry R&D offices.”
